In the Old Kingdom, people thought of Horus as having the head of a falcon, and his name means “falcon” in Egyptian. They did however acknowledge Horus as rightful heir to the throne after the battle; Horus the Younger, or Horus the Child, was known as Harseisus or Herupakhered. Portrayed as a falcon headed man, he and Horus shared an association which led him known as the Horus of the Horizon. One problem with comparing events in the life of Horus and Yeshua relates to time. As a result his name ("Heru") was sometimes translated as "face", rather than "distant one", and was sometimes modified to "Herut" ("sky")
